License runs done. IAT question?
I did my license runs tonight. 6 in 3 hours. Humid and around 80.
I ran 142 on my last two full passes, the track was no good for ET for me. At all.
I have my car set to pull timing starting at 130 IAT. I was seeing 150 degrees at the finish line. So my 16 base was down to 13.
I am intercooled on E85.
Am I being too conservative?

it is conservative but id say that's one thing you don't have to worry about while getting the et to match the mph. I have been thinking about this my self just on 93 pump . without knock sensors I worry about iat mine doesn't pull timing till 170* and will pull 10* by 220*.
sounds like its making some power.

The IAT timing table is a safety valve the factory uses to combat heat soak and to keep the car out of detonation when the under hood temps go out of sight.
Remember, I'm running the stock PCM.
If you look at various vehicles calibrations, some are VERY aggressive at removing timing.
I have modified mine quite a bit, but it sounds like I'm still too conservative. Easy to change.
I do have knock sensors, they have been very quiet thus far! But I know they are functioning.
