Sparkplug wire length

I have a little problem, we made the the headers on my truck too tight to the block and now having trouble running spark plug wires from the coil to the plug. I am thinking about running the coils inside my truck. Is there any negative affect from having wires that long? i will be running up to 30 lbs of boost and want to make sure it will work before i do it. thanks for any help.

The guys at Firecore50 say "the longer the better". For noise suppression issues.
