Default aeromotive fuel pump

Anyone use the aeromotive 11106, Summit, and if so, how do you like it? I'm putting it on a boosted 6.0 in a foxbody. Getting a real good deal on it so I figure if I need more I can hook up a Bosch 044 on a hobbs switch. Only bad thing I see is it has a 8an inlet and a 6an outlet. I will need to go to 10 an in and out.

If the inlet is -8...why do you feel you need -10 ?

Although you can easily run a -10 line and use a -10 to -8 adaptor at the pump.

And why need a -10 outlet from the pump ? That's pretty damn huge for only a 700hp pump, that -6 would easily handle.

I'd sooner be using the 044 from the outset over that pump anyway.

The car is done plumbed with 10 all the way to the front. I was planning on a 8 return. The car will have more hp later when I build a forged bottom end, and I figured I could use this pump for a second using a hobbs switch. You say that you prefer the 044 over the aeromotive?

Well the 044 is "700hp" capable...in American terms. It's compact, fairly quiet, handles pressure better than any other pump out there, and is ultra reliable.

Really there are no negatives IMO.

If the large lines are already on the car, makes little odds. Just use adaptors.
