Default Who makes the best flowing mufflers?

Has anyone done some dyno testing with different mufflers? I'm trying to find the "happy medium" between flow and being quiet. But of course, #1 concern is flow. A local speed shop is a big fan of the dyno max oval strait through muffler. A big Whipple lightning picked up over 30whp going from 3 inch single chamber race flowmasters to the 3 inch dyno max ovals. But that was also years ago so I'm sure there are better out there.
Let me know what you guys have found

I like the way the hookers sound.
Anyone have experience with the American racing header- race lite mufflers?

Another vote here for hooker maxflows. Quiet and I dont notice any difference in performance at 15 psi

Ive always ran, read, and heard that a long perforated core muffler is the best choice for flow and sound.

My LTD had 2 maxflows, two borla xr1's, and two bullets, all are straight thru. Yes thats right 6 mufflers, its deadly quiet and loses no mph at the track with the 3.5 cutout open before all of them.

I assume it's their straight through, race muffler. But I could be wrong

I don't know, I have always heard their straight through perforated tube design was one if the best performing.
