Im sure these questions have been asked before so bare with me .

Getting ready to start a 5.3 iron turbo build.

Goals are 800rwhp thru auto on E85 .
Some of the things i have on the plan are.
-Stock crank
- fordged compstar rods
-fordged wiseco piston
-Costom turbo cam
-317Heads
- stud Mains,head,
-dual walpro 485 fuel pumps
-Edelbrock Pro-Flo XT EFI Intake Manifold
-Questions are?
-throttle body
-Size turbos that wont lag
-whats a good injector
-will ls1 rails work?

Having a shop fabricate the piping for me . I am little new to ls world did a bunch of fords. Plz dont hate or say sounds like a fast furious ****. Just looking for some advice and save some money . I appreciate the help .

Look over in the forced induction section. This question has been asked many times.

For 800 hp you don't need half that stuff... OEM longblock with head studs LS9 head gasket. All OEM fasteners on the bottom end. Small cam. OEM intake, throttle body, and rails. You'll need a decent rising rate fuel pressure regulator.

80lb injectors will work with enough pressure. I'd prefer 120's at lower base pressures.

60-63mm turbos with P-trim exh wheels and .8x-.9x AR exh. housings would be a good start.

 

Moving to FI. If you have questions on the shortblock, ask in internal.
