turbo coatings
I thought about having the header coating, but not sure if they can be taken apart to do that (BW S475)
Poor mans alternative is krylon BBQ grill paint. It's kept the rust off my hotside and turbo housing better than the more expensive VHT and similar high temp paints. Seems to hold up for years if applied correctly.
I just sprayed the lot with BBQ paint. Painted everywhere I could. Compressor cover, centre, turbine, the heap !
Only thing with the BBQ paint, the instructions on mine said you need to cure within 1 hour of paint drying.
ie get them up to normal working temperature and let them sit at that for 30 mins or so.
So far the paint hasnt burnt off and is holding up pretty well.
