Default What To Expect On E85

Hey there gang. Ive had my AA 3.4 pulley sitting around and Im finally getting around to installing it. I expect to see around 11-12psi from it. One thing I thought of doing is switching over to E85. I have some 103lb (@4bar) injectors for it and my dual Walbros should be up to the task. Im wondering though how close I'll get to the 700rwhp mark. On 8.5psi i made 610/575 to the wheels on 91 octane. Will i be flirting with 700rwhp with 11.5psi and E85? Just curious. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

I gained 87rwhp with a 4psi increase with a little mpt70/L33 combo with no change in fuel, 91 octane. You should be able to pick up more than that if you tune or the E85 and you don't blow through the converter. There was an article in car craft I think, where they picked up 90ft/lbs of torque or so through most of the power band with just a switch to e85 on a blower setup.

2 255 walbros at 70psi total pressure (boost plus base) were done around 600whp (if that) on my E85 setup.

I wouldn't trust 2 255's to 700whp personally. 2 walbro 450's would work well IMO.

Nice gains! I switched from a Yank to a Circle D triple clutch converter just for those reasons. Having the trans refreshed as well as we speak to handle 1000hp.

I was expecting 650 from the pulley swap alone but I would be happy at 670 and above. Lol. I have the car under 3000lbs so it's gonna scoot.

Hmm, I'll look into that. I know my setup is good for 1000hp on pump gas but I'll ask my builder. They're dual walbro 340's.

I pushed a SINGLE 255 to 780+ on 93 octane in a C5...(it was done at 5800rpm),,,,e85 obviously MORE demanding in volume...you would think 2 would achieve 700rwhp without an issue in a C5(fuel layout) with e85.

I think 11psi and E85 you will reach 720-750rwhp.

FIC1000 injectors are on the way. They flow 95lb/hr at 3 bar and 103lb/hr at 4 bar.
