Turbo guru help needed - leaking coolant!

I am still (after two months) in the process of installing a stage one incon kit. I filled up the coolant last week and yesterday noticed it was dripping out of the driver's side turbo. I pulled the manifold. and found the coolant hose fitting to turbo joint leaking at the copper washer. Of coure it was at the one that I couldn't access as usual...

How do you torque this thing properly? I tighten it to the spec but when I put the hose on it it comes loose. Is there some kind of trick?

I may of modified one but don't remember modifing one of the 17 or 18 mm wrenches for the water lines. I did modify a 12 mm, spark plug socket, 15mm and a few others for clearance.
