Default Merge angle?

On my cold side, I've got both 2.5" pipes off the turbines (twins) that need to merge into one 3" to feed the intercooler (single inlet). Already have the intercooler, so I'm not going to be replacing with a dual feed style.

Here's what I came up with, and now that I'm looking at it I'm just wondering if reducing the angle between the two 2.5" would have any benefit? I didn't want it so tight that I couldn't get my MIG gun in between to weld it up.

That doesn't look like a problem at all. Nice work.

There are way worse working on this forum.

Thanks. I guess im just a bit concerned about the angle on the two 2.5" pipes. If reducing the angle will make a big difference in turbulence etc, ill re-do it.

Not too bad, I've seen worse. I'm not sure how much power would increased with less angle into a merge pre-intercooler. The intercooler itself is more of a restriction, 1 or 2 lbs of boost differential thru the cooler.

it will work but isnt optimal for flow...will you notice a difference at your power level? answer is no
