Default recently ordered head/cams - now adding turbo on top

i recently ordered head/cams. if i add a twinturbo, would i need to change the cams or pistons? pistons are stock. and would the turbo give me the same power as if i didn't have head/cams?

It depends if the heads you put of were milled down to bump up the compression. You will be better off with lower compression when you are doing forced induction since you will make more HP per lb of boost than having a higher compression ratio with less boost.

And make sure the cams are syncronized

what are the specs on what you purchased?

oh do you have an ls1 engine? we have 2 heads & 1 cam..
You sure you want to tackle all this yourself?

back to the subject you are better off returning the heads and cam if you can, and spending the cash on stuff to support the turbo system, good fuel set up, good tuning, good drivetrain. then if you got extra you can go for some 6.0 heads or even a set of lc pistons.

its the c2 cam by mti: 224 224 .581 .581 112

and the cylinder heads were either the 2r or the 2e.
