600hp turbo c5? I just picked up a 2002 c5 vette and I want to turbo it and make 600 hp. What am I in for? I have read in some places that I pretty much need a few fuel system mods and a solid tune. Other places I read that I need new pistons and rods and head studs. The car has 23k miles on it and If this engine makes it past 30k making 600hp I'll be happy. It would be great if I don't have to build the motor to get 600hp. Any ideas?
Dual 255 walbros (for room to grow)
Either 60 or 80lb injectors
Wide band
Boost gauge
Alky control (if you want to be safe)
Decent cam
Good valve springs(btr)
Clutch to hold the power
2 bar map sensor
Lots of odds and ends trust me lol
600rwhp is very doable but really depends on the tune and even still is in the pushing it zone for a stock short block so nothing is promised
