418 12.7 compression 2300??
So I have 418 for my Vette with about 12.7:1 compression with ls3 heads. Running a 200 wet shot.
I've been day dreaming a little about slapping on a zr1 blower.
Initially I was thinking about the 1900 out of a cts or zlr but I'm thinking that might be too small.
My question is could I run the 2300 on my 418 without changing the compression? I don't need a **** ton of boost but let's say 8lbs and still run maybe a 100shot of n20 for fun?
If I do this, what kinda numbers do you think would be possible?
Right now I think I'm at say 550whp NA and 750whp on the 200.
Or am I crazy?

You're over thinking it. First of all, theres no "slapping on" of any blower. Youre going to spend a lot more in the little bullshit parts than what its worth. Your car makes great power and should run decent from the numbers.
If you're stuck on the blower idea, go with a centrifugal blower. Novi 2200 or something similar. Lower your compression with a set of LSA heads, work the chamber if needed for more CC (less compression), all of this on the assumption you have an LS3 top end. Or do 317s if youre still cathedral.

I have a Ls3 top end. I realize it's not just slapping it on but I can get a full zr1 blower reality cheap. Sell my fast and add a liquid cooling system and some fat injectors.
Just don't know if it's worth my time.
Lots of stock cube zr1s in the 800+ range.
