BW k29 and 5.3?

BW k29 and 5.3? New guy here, slowly building a 5.3 for some boost over the winter. Plans aren't anything crazy, just a simple rebuild with new springs, pushrods, lifters, studs, and rod bolts with the 706 heads it came with. Goal is around 600hp. My question is has anyone heard of running a Borg Warner K29 turbo on an LS motor? I have the opportunity to get a new one extremely cheap. My buddy works on heavy equipment and says its a T6 version 71mm. Would this work at all?
