help picking gear for turbo car I have a 2900-3000 pound car with a 5.3 and th400 4000rpm stall I run a 26" tall tire now the car has a 3.73 gear and I'm seeing around 6500-6700 rpm at the line "1/4 mile" I'm wanting to change rear end gears to a 3.23 or 3.05 gear the turbo I will be running is a s480 with a 83 or 87mm exhaust wheel in a 1.10 ar housing which gear would be best for a setup like mine looking at making 750-800whp hoping to be able to run a mid 9s on my et streets
