Default Bullet proof up and forward turbo headers for 4th gen?

I know it's an old subject but can't find any new info. Looking for a really nice set to fab my twin kit from. Doesn't have to be off the shelf open to custom one offs also. 1 7/8 and as strong as they can be is my only musts. Thx.

I haven't got confirmation that SW up and forward fit on 4th gens. I know they do on 3rd gens. Also the passenger header angles In and I want both coming straight out. I see obx makes a set for a decent price but not sure on fitment either.

You can also try the huron speed twin turbo kit. They are forward facing.

I thought Huron speed used mostly truck manifolds for there kits. I'm deff going to do my own kit but unsure how hard headers are to make. I'm a new welder also so want a good strong set that holds up to heat and stress.

That is our old kit and yes Truck Manifold based. Our new V2 Twin Kit and all other V2 kits for that matter use our new V2 Stainless, forward facing manifolds. Made from .120 wall thick Stainless, v-banded, and retain OEM Alternator down low! The .120 wall stainless is some thick stuff and makes for a very strong piece! I am unsure of anything else on the market that uses .120 wall. They would be more of a down and forward fabricated manifold type if I was to classify it, however they work excellent in the F-body applications they were designed for.

Just curious why do you need headers instead of truck manifolds ? I would think your best bet is to get with someone who can build what you want if it's a must have.

I'm not building a budget turbo car just to go fast. It's show/ street roll race car. Kind of like 90 percent of supras out there lol. If I have to ill make my own just thought I'd try and save time by buying a nice set but looks like ill be doing my own one offs.

you made the post on FB a while back right?

I have straightline headers on my turbo kit.. look at my build thread, i havent updated it but the car runs and drives as of now. the only issues I have with the headers is that I had to relocate my coils cause they hug the valve covers quite a bit. and there is little to no spark plug access.. I have to pull the plugs out from the bottom..

I may have. I relocated the coils already anyway. Spark plug access at the bottom is fine. Joe quoted me on a set of headers but he's been really hit or miss lately about getting ahold of him. He did my buddy Jim's kit. Ill check your thread out for sure. Thx do you have a link to it?
