62 c10 turbo 5.3 build

Hello all,

New to the forum and have a few questions about my build. Im building a 62 c10 with a chevy 5.3. I plan on running stock heads with dual springs. speed inc tu1.5 turbo cam with head studs, ls1 intake and 80lb injectors. However I am having trouble deciding what turbo to use. My goal is between 550 and 650 whp. If that is even attainable with the mods I have stated before. So if you guys could help steer me in the right direction that would be great.

Whats your budget? Track toy or street?

The most I could probably spend on a turbo is like $1100 im trying to build as cheap as possible. And it will be a mix between street and track.

If your going cheap the on3 turbos would get my vote, the 76mm or the 78mm would reach your goal. I bought the on3 78/75 but I have yet to try it out. If you wanted a proven turbo that will exceed your goals I would buy this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Borg-Warner-...-/221588860337
