those with cx racing fbody kit, need some plug wire help
those with cx racing fbody kit, need some plug wire help I have their non a/c kit on an 2002 f-body. The headers are wrapped and some good boot covers on the wires but I'm still having problems burning the wires. It's mainly the passenger side.
Anybody running this kit care to share how you solved this, please?

I run this kit also. I also had problems burning wires until I switched to lt1 plug wires. They are long enough to run under and over the header to the coils and have short 90 degree boots that go on the plugs. They work perfect!
Having same exact problem. Lol. I ran longer wires on number 3 & 5, over and under, w 90 degree boots with heat sleeves And wrapped headers, but still ended up with another melted boot. My driver side is only ones that keep burning tho. It's the driver side, with the humped up runner that's getting em. Just Rewrapped my headers now trying to decide on what wires to get. Why do All LS wires come with 4 inch Straight boots?? I've noticed the LS2/LS3 wires have more of an angle on their boots. Anyone know if those wires will work with LS1 coils??
