Default Using an ebay GT45 as mockup for a Borg Warner?

Has anyone used an Ebay GT45 as a mockup turbo, or switched from a GT45 to a Borg Warner S400x?

I had a BW S476 with 1.10 A/R T6 turbine.
I've since switched hotside to a KB Racing T4 manifold and relocated the turbo. I plan on selling the S476 T6 and swapping to either a Billet S474 (87mm T4) or a box-stock S475 (83mm T4). I can get them for the same price but the S474 is a re-man unit using an older center section.

So I was wondering if I could find a GT45 with a 4" downpipe V-band flange and use it for mock-up and possibly base tune for start-up and cruise, and then switch to the Borg Warner without too much modification. I'm guessing their size and weight is roughly the same, and that I may have to change the angle of my cold side pipes a bit if I get the longer S474.

Who has done it, and just how much did you have to change? I already know what changes will be have to made to the tune, but I don't want any other surprises to spring up when I go to do the swap.

I have seen pics floating around of the 2 side by side and they look relatively close in size other than the compressor housing. I also fabbed my entire hotside with a GT45 with future plans to swap on aT4 S475
