wastegate boost line-before/after intercooler
Do as you wish, life is short. As long as people don't reference to the intake manifold, that is still better if it can be prevented at any costs. Everyone does what they think is fine to sleep well at night. I'm amazed it worked for you but I would do differently.
this is a lot simpler than it seems. if you reference at the compresser or in the pipe before the throttle body there is no difference other than by hooking near the throttle body you are taking the intercooler pressure drop out of the equation. 1 to 2 lbs max
as long as you don't hook to the intake your fine.
seeing how pressure travels a 1100 fps there is no issue . if your wastegate spikes you have a sticky wastegate.
