What size wastegate??

What size wastegate?? what size wastegate wouldyou reccomend for a 416 ls3 with like a 82mm turbo runnin like16lbs?.. only running one gate so im figuring i need like a tial 60 or somethin? lookin to run an EB2 with it
A 60mm turbosmart is what I would use. Huron speed sells them at a good price.

If you place the gate properly you don't need much. My 42mm would regulate my boost to 9lbs with the "middle" supplied spring. Thats on a small T4 housing as well. 60mm is excessive IMO for most setups running over 10lbs. Not needed, but won't hurt anything either...
The lower the boost you want, the larger the wastegate you are going to need. Also, if you can't place the wastegate in an optimal position, you will need a larger wastegate as well.

ok well ill probly want like 8psi at the lowest with that setup for the street sometimes.. and i have the huron v1 a/c kit which people have had problems with boost creep, which they fixed on the v2 kit, but theyre so expensive for a 60 or higher, i think i either have a 38mm or 44mm im not sure what came with it.. it easily controlled 6lbs on a 7575 onna stock ls1
