vortech heat exchanger questions.
vortech heat exchanger questions. I am going to be piecing together the heat exchanger/pump portion of my vortech setup.
Wondering a few questions about the vortech supplied heat exchanger (radioator, not aftercooler)
what kind of construction is it made of. Is it radiator style, or trannsmission cooler style?
does it mount nice and secure.
does it look oem, and does it effect normal cooling.
Or are there any better replacement pieces that would be worth looking into.
Since i have to buy one, it may be worth buying the best the first time around.
Also any reccomendations for pumps?

Yeah it is a nice piece it has very good mounting brackets and the radiator is a lot bigger than it looked in the pictures I thought Id just put a bigger on one there for a little more cooling but when I got it and looked at how thick and nice it was I decided not to mess with it yet. Just my opinion on the cooler itself.
SC-MECHAM-WS6 or Inspector12 where does the radiator/cooler mount on this system. I have my tranny cooler on the passenger lower side of radiator is that where its supposed to go.
Caveman: It mount right in the middle of the radiator support it has two brackets that take the place of two of the pushins that hold the front bumper cover to the support.
