Default hot side piping size

Right now my car has 2.5" hot side piping. Is it worth it "300 dallors or so"to change to 2 1/4" piping to help get the exhaust flowing faster? I went with a little smaller turbo this time 1.10 ar 92mm wheel old turbo was 1.39 ar and 103mm wheel should I wait and see how much sooner the New turbo spools or go ahead and redo the piping and get the spool as soon as it can be this is on a 5.3

I'm no expert first of all. I do believe it would help though it's not a must. Really boils down to if 300$ is worth it to you or not. Did you have a 103mm wheel in a 5.3!?!?

the A/R and wheel change is going to make a pretty big difference. I would wait to see if it's enough of a difference for you to want to change it.
