I still love this forum because it has years and years of info, but ever since the JY build craze started, it's the same **** over and over again.

IMO, TurboBullet is far less crazy, it's still ran by racers.

They do delete/ clean up junk threads in the tech forums. Anything goes in trashed or be trashed.

Seriously... you've got an issue with me locking a thread that the topic has been dead for a while?

Sure he opened up a new shop, is that any surprise he would do that. I'm not protecting anyone, but the new thread started to take the same attitude the other one did, that every person would go physically harm him because they are such an internet badass.

I've tried to keep this section of tech on point, and do as little moderation / censorship / whatever you want to complain about as possible. I'm sorry you don't read the stickies, so should we just constantly bump threads about bad businesses to avoid?

Sounds like you can do a better job, so why don't you toss your name in the ring to mod this section as well as start up a facebook page while you're at it.

Yes, the topic had run its course before, but him starting a new business does make it okay to refresh people on the topic/situation in my humble opinion. Physical threats are something you can delete or edit and reprimand for, but instead you just locked it up without even giving people a chance to knock off the physical threats.

I'm not saying to bump every bad business thread but this one being "fresh" makes customers more vulnerable to getting taken by him again. You can come in here and be as defensive as you want, but the way it looks to me you are the only one in here that doesn't think that thread had any validity. I didn't say or even suggest that I could do the job better. Just stated my opinion that the thread shouldn't have been closed.

About the Facebook page... I understand that could be much harder to control, but I can think of at least one person who asks the same question a different way every week about "what on3 turbo is best" or "how does the on3 76 compare to xx turbo" and a few more variations, but my biggest point on bringing that up is that it seems like everyone has forgotten how to use Google and/or have become incredibly lazy.

If you read the stickied thread, which I stickied because people asked for it to be, I warned people to knock off the keyboard warrior physical threats because all it does is make this site somewhat accountable if something were to happen. Don't think it can't because it happened on YB.

I didn't edit anything that was written in the recent post, I didn't delete it, I even let it go for a little while before I locked it.

Anyone who knows me, knows I've been around for a while, and if nothing else, I'm honest and straight forward. I'm not hiding or protecting anyone. Ask sponsors, I've gotten PM's from some on my personal facebook account and I've been honest and straight forward.

If you want to chat, PM me and I can give you a way to contact me.

The Alchemist,

It was the right choice reopening the thread. You do well at the ole Mod position... delete what you feel is against the 'Tech rules.

That scumbag deserves all the negative attention. He should never be allowed to be in this business ever again. Collectively, we can stop someone else losing hard earned money under a new LLC, ran by the same crooked owner.

No need to chat. I'm pretty sure I got my point across. I never have understood the threats myself, but to each their own
