Physical size difference bw475 to bw480?

Im seriously contemplating just using a cast bw475 96 1.32 on my sbe 6.0 build for cost reasons alone. When I have money down the road I would want to go to a billet 480 both would be t6 flange but what I would like to know is if there is a difference in the actual size. I don't want mount the 475 to close to anything that the 480 wont fit when I upgrade at least I wont have to redo the hotside then.

Same size. Both are 9" covers. The standard cover is a a v-band and the 80 will have the john deere "race cover" hose outlet.

Depends how and where you measure them. There is sometimes more gating left on the race covers that makes them taller, but if you polish that off they're very close.
