s475 question

how much play side to side should a basic s475 t6 wheels have with no oil pressure? believe its a forced inductions 475, how much time on it and the wheels and housings look brand new but i can spin and move the wheel till it contacts the housings. wonding if i should look for a rebuild kit or just run it

If you can make it hit the sides, I would look further into a problem
Sometimes its hard to reach FI, but I would try

First s480 we bought was like that. We were able to make the wheel touch. Must have been good with oil pressure. That turbo was like that brand new and never gave us a problem

If you can make it touch the cover or housing with minimal effort (finger strength, not using your whole arm strength) It probably could use a rebuild. With no oil pressure though, any borg turbo can be made to touch down with enough force.
