Running 90* fittings
Got the 90* NPT fittings today for the waterpump
Also got the passenger side intercooler pipe all welded and BOV flange installed.
Finished fiberglassing in the gauge pod
Doesnt look like I got a pic of the pod with coat of primer.
Think I got it figured out what I have to do with the maf and other sensors so the drivers side piping is basically getting redone. So Ill be back at it.

Worked on fitting the massive 3.5" downpipe. Took a good chunk of the day but it fits well and I can take it out in one piece. I was afraid I might have to make it a 2 piece downpipe Some places look close but the closest place still has 1/2" of clearance plus Im going to wrap it.
Still deciding what to do with the wastegate piping. Either just leave it like this or make up a exhaust pipe for it and route it to the bumper area. Im afraid if I leave it as is theres going to get a lot of soot on the from rim.
Kind of at a stand still for the rest of the intercooler piping until I get a cone that goes from 3" to 3.5" alum so the maf, seperate IAT and meth inj will be in a 3.5 alum pipe then a 3.5" to 4" 90* elbow into the TB.

Buttoned the rest up last night. Exhaust is on and done, everything is ziptied securely so it doesnt get burnt. Autozone didnt have enough 1/4 line for the wastegate and BOV so I couldnt drive it but I did let it idle and fill the cooling system. Sounds pretty mean. Started working on securing the hood latch since I cant run a bar down like factory anymore. Shouldnt take too much to finish that then I can start tossing things on and see what I have to do to get the hood safety latch to clear the intercooler.

Some photos from the last couple of days
Grabbed a summit aluminum overflow tank since the factory wont fit
Going to have it powdercoated whenever I get the intercooler pipes powdercoated.
Also got a Thermal Zero turbo blanket off ebay Fits well and does the job
Had to modify the hood latch by bending it forward to clear the intercooler. Then cut out a good section infront of the factory cut out for the latch.
And finally I tossed the grill on which needed trimmed and the billet insert removed. Stealthy huh hahahah
Brother and I drove and tuned for a few hours last night and got it pretty solid at 10 psi. Still havent run through the gears at wot but just rolling onto the throttle for a bit. Only got it to 90% TPS.
But got it ready for the biggest carshow of the year today so there will be some great pics from that.

Some update. Trucks been running decently. Made a couple WOT 40mph pulls and it just hauls.
Won a trophy at the show over memorial weekend.
Also went back to some work duty hauling stuff.
Picked up a nice Cub Cadet 3184 with 44" deck, Triple Bagger and plow.
Then Picked up a bunch of lumber to fence in my 18x20 garden.
Pulls really well, and cruises really well. However during my inspection of things after putting some miles on it I found this crap.
I just replaced the coils last October and have maybe 500 miles on them.
Why does my drivers side suspension hate me so much.

Thanks man!
Tomorrow I hope it rains so I can stop doing outdoor projects and get back in the garage haha. Have to change out the drivers coil spring, Wire up the lighting for the 3 new gauges and figure out way my fuel pressure just stays at maxxed out.
I did take it over to my parents today so I could help my dad on a home remodel project and got on it on the highway. Looking at the boost gauge for the first time going wot through a gear and not only the wideband I found out my singe 46mm wg isnt up to the task. I have 7.5# springs in there which at 90% throttle brought me to 10 psi just rolling into it but today going all out it hit 15 psi at 6000 something rpm. so Ill be adding a second 46mm wg onto the crossmember somewhere.

The zr1s are back on, doesnt hook up under 45 going WOT though hahaha. But then again the single wastegate isnt in a good spot because its not keeping up and creeps to 15psi with the 7# spring in it so Im adding a 2nd WG and in a better spot.
Picked up a compact Turbonetics Comp 40 wastegate.
Found a good spot off bank 1
and got it tacked up ready to be tigged and purged.
Also bought a replacement windshield washer tank so I can finally hook up the meth and a hallman manual boost controller.
