Joe believes he can reuse my ac condenser. I replaced mine with an aftermarket that is an OE replacement, but overall it is slightly thinner. Even if my setup required a modified ac condenser, I believe it would add minimal cost since he knows of a local place that makes them. I know his truck manifold kit can retain AC easily, the unique part of this setup is that it will use his custom headers and place the turbo higher up in the engine bay than a traditional truck manifold kit. I'm pumped to see how it turns out.

You will love that turbo.Just make sure you have one very free flowing exhaust due to back pressure and a electric cutout.

So how much power can this turbo make on a LS1 with great heads and a custom turbo cam? 6 speed WS6.

not to hijack but my car made 746rwhp with this turbo on 18psi, i think it could have made a good bit more but i ran out of injector. This turbo really started making good power when we hit 16psi+
243 untouched heads, torquer v2 cam, 80lbs injectors, vic jr intake, forged bottom end, mahle -16cc pistons, 9.0:1 compression

No real expectations. I'll be happy with anything over 600 which I think I will make easily.

Your setup sounds very similar to what I'd be looking to do. Mine won't be a forged LS1 and I'll be running the stock LS6 intake, but will pull my Tick cam in lue of a custom turbo cam. Do you remember what duty cycle your injectors were at when you made 746 on 18 psi? What brand injectors also?

seimens dekka's at 40psi base fuel pressure i believe. I think my fuel injectors were right around 95%ish duty cycle. This was on pump gas(93).

If I can make that on pump 93, I think that's going to be the best option for me and my budget. I know with e85 you need more injector, bigger pump, and different fuel line, so that adds up quick. Did you ever entertain meth injection?

This is almost my exact long term plan. A nice forged bottom end on the stock block. Hoping to run at 500-550rwhp for awhile on SBE though, and starting to give serious consideration to the on3 turbo
