Chassis Dyno With 4.88 Gears???
I recently started swapping a mild 350 to an S475/6.0/4L80e. Progress is slow and steady even though I am overwhelmed financially at the moment.
Will it matter if I get the car dyno tuned with the 4.88 gears?
The plan is to swap to a 3.50ish gear and strengthen the 12 bolt but ideally that would be great for next winters project. The goal of getting this thing running by the fall is already looking lofty.

Well when they dyno tune it they do it based on PSI. They start out with the base (minimum boost the car can be set to) and go up boost levels to add fuel based on that at load. I would think there'll be sufficient load to get a Wideband reading and then adjust the fuel maps to it. Speak to Jim Moran over at Speed Inc to see what he thinks. He'll tell you flat out if it makes much of a difference since he does all the tuning there.
