TT Ranger mega truck
Getting close to being all the way done with my build, so i figured I'd start a build thread here, not the typical build you see on here.
Specs:
1991 Ford Ranger extended cab body
4x2 tube frame
2" subframe
Triangulated 4link front and rear
2.5 ton Rockwell axles
49" tractor tires
built th400, mated to a military t-case
Motor:
2005 l33 5.3
Tick performance stage 3 5.3 cam package
On3 performance up and forward headers
Vs racing 90 T-4 to 3" vband 90s
Twin 70mm on3 performance turbos .68ar
80lbs injectors
a1000 pump
-8an feed -6an return
Chassis is done, motor is almost done, waiting on a few parts, then heading to the dyno, pictures coming.

Got some coilovers
At this point my build starts to change directions several times, for various reasons...
Picked up a toyota xtra cab and flatbed and mocked it up on the frame

At this point I decided that I wanted to set this up as a rear motor, and that a flatbed wouldn't work for me, so i started hunting a clean toyota bed. After coming up empty, I picked up a stepside ranger bed to put on it.
The ranger bed is around 7 1/2" to wide, but the body lines match up almost perfect.

I didn't take any pictures of the 4link while it was going in, but it's dual triangulated front, and rear.
Everything tacked together and rolled outside for the first time

Got an old transfer case from my buddy, supposed to be from an old military truck, but I don't know that much about it. If anyone recognizes what it's out of or anything on it, I'd like to know. It's plenty beefy, and had the drop I was looking for so I decided to run it.

Final picture of the build before it all changed up
I realized that 8.1's weren't the most boost friendly motors at this point, and they are expensive compared to 4.8, 5.3, or 6.0s. There's also almost zero aftermarket support for them, so i sold it. Picked up an L33 5.3 to replace it, and swapped them out.
At the same time I was battling rust issues with my Toyota body, so I switched it out for an earlier ranger body.
Had to put it on the little tires to swap bodies
Back on the tractors

Got my turbos
Put the cage, and corbeau seats in, didn't get very many pictures of that, and wired everything up to get the motor fired. Started right up first try in 20 degree weather, and I could move this thing around under it's own power for the first time.
Started my turbo setup, ordered vs racing 90* t4 to vband elbows
Have the intercooler mounted, radiator mounted, oil drains done, and that's about where it's sitting now. Waiting on my Tick performance cam to come in, my throttle body adapter, and my oil feeds, and then I'm headed to the dyno. Hopefully have everything done by the end of next week.
