Break down of turbo sizes?

Break down of turbo sizes? You turbo guys throw out all these different turbos and I'm trying to get an understanding of how they work. Usually, from what i gather, the number is the turbine wheel size in millimeters. But then you got things like T4 and T6 flanges. You have some with the same housings, but with different internals. Could someone give me a break down of how turbo sizing works?

All other turbos typically tell you the size of the turbo in the name itself. Like a PTE-76GTS, mean, PTE=Precision 76=76mm compressor, GTS means the new GT=Garrett S= Strim wheel from GT series. T4 is flange size for exhaust, typically T4 is 2.75X3.50, T6 is typically 2.75X4.40.
