Lq9 L92 Turbo
Lq9 L92 Turbo Pondering on ditching my nitrous changeover and holding off to just NA for the summer and start ordering the turbo setup.
basically just a 6.0 LQ9 with L92 heads and stock LS3 intake. Only mods are a Pat G spec'd Cam, PRC springs with Ti retainers, upgraded pushrods and a NW TB.
Car made 448/396 NA.
Thinking of just changing the cam for boost, maybe try to use it to bleed off some of the 10.3 to 1 compression.
Plans are VS Racing forward headers and a custom hot side with a BW S480 with the 96mm wheel. 2 WG's and a Treadstone intercooler with BOV.
Trying to keep it simple and on 93 Pump Gas
Looking for opinions on the Turbo size and the amount of boost you think I can get away with. I'm thinking 10-12lbs maybe make close to 700 Wheel
I have plenty of room to work with...

Ok changing it up a little bit. Looks like i'm going with the On3 LS swap fox body kit.
78/76 turbo and the 4" intercooler upgrade.
siemend 80lb injectors and a cam swap
dropping rear to 3.27 gears
need help with cam options. my current compression is 10.3 to 1
engine specs are above but its just a L92 headed 6.0 stock LS3 intake and NW 90mm TB
looking to be able to boost 10-12lbs on straight 93 pump gas. will add meth kit down the road for more boost
