Default oil drain question

I took my oil pan off my Pontiac gto to get my oil drain done. Well there the problem i give the guy -10 fitting for my oil drain but he got my fitting mix with -8 fitting and installed-8 fitting than i put the oil pan back on. I going to put my drain on and the dam thing to small. Can i just ran a savage pump with-8 fitting on the turbo drain to the -8 on the oil pan and still work?

Depending on your turbo, it may be ok. Is it journal or ball bearing? The manufacturer will recommend a minimum drain size for your turbo, I'd start there.

It would be helpful if you gave a little more detail on your setup.

Turbo/turbos ? oil journal/ball bearing ? Their mounting location etc etc.

I was going to do cxracing twin turbo kit but im doing a single turbo build now. I just bought one of those silverado turbo manifold on the passenger side. The oil drain is on the oil pan side on the passenger side. Thinking about going with on3 performance 7875 turbo

So an oil journal single ? And turbo is mounted high ? Low ?

A -8 drain if a very good gravity drop to the pan should still be fine

I don't see any problems with a -8.. Gravity works wonders.

-8 is too small! If you paid somebody to do it and you sullpied the correct part they are responsible to fix their fuckup. Drop car off to them and pick up when it's right.
