When to pull timing for IAT on 91 octane?
I was curious when you start to pull timing for IAT on 91 octane?
Im running pump gas 91 octane and about 10-11 lbs of boost.
Last night my car would start a run at 100 and end at 130ish in the top of second. My timing is set low to begin with at 12 degrees in boost and I start to pull timing at 113 degrees. Thanks for your input, my IAT timing table is below.

If you're only increasing by 30deg, then there would hardly be any need to pull any timing over that range unless you were already on the ragged edge to start with.

Thank you for your input. I don't think i'm anywhere near the ragged edge at 10ish lbs, 11.4 afr, and 12 degrees of timing in boost.
Is there any kind of rule when the IAT is to high? Is 150 degrees considered on the "high side" for 91 pump gas?

There are no rules that apply generically.
It depends on whether or not that high temperature is causing problems, whether in the form of detonation or otherwise. Every setup will be different which is why the tuner will determine what your setup works best and safest with
Some might be happy all day long at 200deg, others might throw a wobbler at only 100deg

Okay. Thank you!
