The need for speed... So this year I got my first taste of racing and harnessing some horsepower and now I want more and faster...
Right now I have a 70 camaro with a 383 making 480whp which was enough to get me to 11.80s at 120. but now I want more.
The ls motors have always caught my eye and now I am wanting to take the leap, but first I want to make sure I can reach my power goals.
My goals 10.99 or quicker and 650whp.
My plan sell my current motor and find a used 5.3 or 6.0, head studs, rod bolts, cam, ported heads and re-ring, and a 2.9l whipple supercharger.
I am looking to run pump gas only, and stay streetable being its a 80% street car.
possible or not ? I know it wont hold up for ever.
