Intercooler question
Intercooler question I'm contemplating using an intercooler in lieu of meth injection on my turbo 5.3. I have an S475 and would like to run between 15-20 psi. I would expect 650-750 rwhp with my mods. I saw a vertical flow intercooler that had good dimensions for my application with a 3 inch core, but only had 2.5 inch inlet and outlet. My questions is, do any of you think the 2.5 inch inlet and outlet would make a difference over a 3 inch? I could always pony up for a Treadstone, but I'd like to get some thoughts first.
