foxbody 5.3 turbo help HI guys
I start my project in my mustang foxbody . I'm interested in installing a turbo GT45 I saw on ebay . I have not much experience in this. It's my first car as a project and need your help . I want to install the turbo in stock engine 5.3 ls . I want a street car and good time in 1/4 mile. Turbo measures are appropriate ? Mm ? Psi ?

There are lots of turbo 5.3 fox bodies here.
The GT45 maxes out around 600whp on a stock 5.3. With some weight reduction, sticky tires, and some practice, that should be able to get you into the 9s.

im using the same turbo on my stock 5.3L with a LS6 cam, ebay head studs etc. So far its working well. Still in the tuning process.
Best to look up Denmah on here as he use to use the GT45 on many of his first builds/ LOTS of info on here on that setup. You will want to at minimum upgrade the valve springs.
