Default LS1 D1sc build ?

what is a good setup? serious question. im in the process of installing a D1sc on my 99 Camaro and would like to hear what you guys think and some suggestions.
its a stock internal/bottom end M6 99 LS1 with stage 2 ported heads, bigger valves, stock compression, Futral F14 (standard lift) cam 232" 234" .598 .598, NW 90mm TB, fast 90MM intake, 80lb bosch injectors, 510lph racetronix fuel pump, Meziere ewp, QTP headers, no cats, 4" through a spintech muffler.

keeping in mind its stock guts what do you think is a relatively safe (but a bit on the wild side) amount of boost to shoot for? i will be running meth (ordering kit this week) and keeping it below 6600 rpm. what pulley sizes should i be looking at for that boost #?
id like to be between 650-700whp, can i do it with my setup?

do you have an aster bracket or sdce setup ? If not you should buy the aster bracket so you dont have to worry about belt slip .

What size crank pulley are you going to be running ? On a stock bottom end I would keep the boost around 10-12 #'s. That would put you in the 550-600 hp range.

OP, just to give you a idea I just recently finished up my build, It's a stock bottom end Ls1 with stock 853 heads, D1SC with a FMIC, Ls6 intake with a ported 78mm TB, 1 7/8 LT's into 4 inch catback, Brute speed blower cam. I run a SDCE bracket with a 7.250 crank pulley and 4.25 blower pulley. The pulley combo makes 10#s peak at 6500. For fuel I'm running 60# injectors and a Racetronix 255 pump with a Hotwire kit. Through a stalled auto, strange S60 with 4.10's and a 28 inch tall ET street I made 546/470. The tune is pretty safe as my tuner didn't want to lean on the engine too hard being that it's a stock 100,000 mile bottom end. You should be pretty close to hitting your goals with your combo.

If you are running meth you should be fine to run 10-12lbs.
My old set up on my d1 made 615/561 on 10lbs with stock bottom end, ported 241's and a 224/224 cam with 60lbs injectors and no meth.

As was mentioned, we need to know if you're using a 7.25, 7.65 or the 8.65 crank pulley. Bob

crank pulley measures 7.65.
with my current setup what pulley combination do i need to get me closest to 700 whp. car is a 1999 LS1 camaro m6, F14 cam, ported heads w/ bigger valves, NW 90mm tb, fast 90mm intake, meth, ewp, qtp race headers, no cats through 4" exhaust and supporting mods.

i have a pulley for the head unit that measures around 4 1/4 - 4 3/8, what boost level would that put me at with the crank pulley i currently have. id like to be between 12 and 15lbs.

There should be a number stamped on the side of the pulley, that gives the size. I'd go with a 3.55 pulley for your combination. The one you have would more than likely get you around 8 psi. Bob
