Which cam is best for a forged ls9?

Default Which cam is best for a forged ls9?

It has the ls9 cam now but looking for bigger and better with out a lot of lift . 9lbs boost now but planning on a meth kit and 13-15 lbs with a pulley swap as well . Made 535/515 on a mustang dyno.

Sorry. Was half asleep when I posted this . Forged 370 , ls9 supercharger, ls9 cam, stock pulley 9lbs. Ls9 injectors, 9:1 comp. Dynoed 535hp on a mustang dyno in 100 degree heat . T56 in a 3900lb truck.

Planning on a 2.3 pulley, meth kit and cam upgrade but do not want a lot of lift wearing out the valve train. looking for proven suggestions .

BTR PD 2 or 3 cam. BTR 2 has amazing street manners and what's in my LSA build. Stage 3 has a bit more of an idle tone. But being that you have a T56 I would lean more towards the stage 3. You might need bigger injectors with any cam and pulley upgrade.

Btw do you need a 2.3 pulley? I have one sitting in the garage. It's from lingenfelter.

That's funny . I was just looking at BTR's website and put it in my shopping cart ! Is it just the pulley?

Yea I don't have the hub. You can purchase that from Lingenfelter.
