LSA blower on L92
I have a L92 engine thats going in my 67 Firebird. I just picked up a LSA blower on ebay that has some upgrades. Solid isolator, 2.55 pulley, and ported snout by ADM performance. 20k miles on the blower 35k miles on the engine.
Car will be running 91 octane. long tube headers. X pipe full dual exhaust. LS3 ported TB.
undecided on cam looking at LS9 or BT PD stage 2
Heres my question..
I think I read a stock ZL1 has 9.0:1 compression. since the L92 engine has 10.5:1 is the 2.55 pulley going to be to much boost? I think stock ZL1 pulley is 3.0..
Any advice on the setup is appreciated also. I'd like to be pushing 600 rwhp. Is that doable with stock pulley?
I might just give in and buy forged rods and dished pistons but dont want to if there is other cheaper options

Reference: I just built a L92 w/ LSA, going BTR stg III and stock pulleys on 93, hoping to get tuned in next couple weeks w same goals.
With 91 octane and any more boost than 9 lbs or so you'd have to severely retard timing and would make less power than stock pulleys I believe.
Check camaro5 for people putting these on LS3's to get the best idea of power output.
I think I'll just go with what I have and if I have any kind of trouble. I'll go with the water/meth injection suggestion.
Any other feedback is appreciated. Thanks guys
WeaponX motorsports makes a really nice lid spacer for the lsa blower that is plumbed for meth. And it only adds about half an inch to the height.
I would look into 2" primary headers, personally. Especially on a positive displacement blower motor with square port heads.
