oil on spark plugs causing misfire.
oil on spark plugs causing misfire. ive been trying to figure out what is causing oil to get onto my spark plugs, enough to cover a few of the plugs and cause a misfire. i did a compression test, you can see it in the pic below. i have all new valve seals that are about a year old and have a little over 1k miles on them. (they came with my spring kit from btr)
its a 08 l76 with 317 heads.
btr springs retainers and valve seals
tick turbo cam
br7ef plugs at stock gap
i have breathers on the 2 rear valve cover ports. and the valley cover port running into the tb.
compression test was held for 2-3 seconds per cylinder
took pics of all the exhaust ports. all look similar except for #7
i can take any pics you need to further help. i appreciate all feedback

You could close that up a little....but check what it actually is first.
The plugs dont look that oily...but certainly they do look fouled, your tune could need work there.
But re-circulating any crankcase breathers into the inlet is asking for oil to get ingested unless you have very effective oil/air separation prior to routing it back to the inlet.
