Man I love this build especially because its a car I will be able to see out and about around KC. I loved your old white FRC and really wished I could have bought it.

Thank you. That was a good car.

Got some work done last night. Driverside manifold and cat installed, passenger side being a little trying with the O2 location and the SFI bellhousing and the starter location. I will work through it.

Studs installed:

Ordered a vacuum manifold and a set of 2.5" v-bands thanks to my homie Jamie for the suggestion for hanging the exhaust.

Thanks for documenting the C6 Z06 manifold swap, it seems like a popular alternative to longtubes. Also, are those stock Ti mufflers you installed? Should sound awesome. Love the Electron Blue.

You bet, I had this same exhaust combo on my last FRC. I am uploading videos.

Yes those are OEM Ti mufflers.

Someone had asked for a clip of the C6Z manifolds with headers and the stock Ti mufflers.

Here is my last FRC with them:

And here is the new car with the TSP catted headers and and the stock Ti mufflers. I am looking forward to see how the new setup sounds.

No sir came out of Oklahoma. I was going to have you build a cam but I am not cracking a gasket on this one to see how it goes. If it changes you will know.

Getting closer everyday. Been waiting on the cradle to ship from ECS for 3 weeks. I have just about buttoned up the engine bay besides all the new hard piping and covering the power wire for the alternator with loom. Going to find a set of fuel rail covers to see if they will go back on.

Sold the black OEM wheels, as I wanted a set of charcoal OEMs and came across these off of a 5800 mile 04Z. Spent some time cleaning them back up. They are like new, it is insane.

I have a set of Nittos that I will throw on them next week.

New front tires arrived today, got the shop to put them on. Rears should be here Thursday AM I am hoping. These wheels are in perfect shape, minus a couple little bruises.

Going to hang the new gauges and pod tonight. Just finished the oil change.

Got the gauges wired up(have to connect power) and installed. This pod did not fit the car well at all but I made it work.

Worked late into the night and got a significant portion done. I will say it is alive.

This was the transmission controller wiring underneath the passenger seat:

This is what I did. Everything was cut trimmed and loomed, then tucked in properly.

Got the tires mounted and balanced today. We have been busy at work so played catch up from a long weekend yesterday.

They are beefy.

Picked up a fresh set of plugs and wires as well and threw them on. The shorter ls3 wires I had just didn't fit well and I wanted to use my header boots.

Picked up a set of these for the radiator mounts, as the OEM ones are stupid expensive and Amazon had these for $22.

Got some loose ends tied up and it is ready to go to fabricator. I am dropping it tomorrow. Don't mind the dirty mess it hasn't seen the light of day in 5 weeks.

All that is left is the fab work, spindles and welds, tuning and alignment. I have a couple cosmetic things to do one being the removal of the clear bra mess and then a full polish. My body guy is fixing a hole in the lower rear bumper now.
