Default LS rods - pin diameters

well I goofed and have pistons with the stock size .945 pin bore

and the manely rods I have have a .927 pin bore

can I resize and hone the rods out to .945? the bushing looks pretty beefy.

or would it be better to bite the bullet and just get new rods (which are pretty cheap!)

looking to build a small little 4.8 for turbo use which will be 95% street at 700 at the tire with the occasional drag strip romp at 800 or so at the tire

(will be using E85 at the strip)

thanks!

I would have the rod ends resized and new bushings installed to fit the pin.

Or exchange the pistons for something like the wiseco's that have a .927 pin...
