Please help me decide what ECU to run.
Current combo is a jy 5.3 s475. Going in a 1995 camaro . Put this together originally for mud truck but put a big block in it so I didn't have to worry about the tuning and could get out and play earlier this year. Now I think I'm going to put it in a camaro I've need sitting around for a while. Car will be setup for drag race only. Well maybe a little street crusing here a there. I have a BMR suspension kit for sell for a while. Just didnt want to sell it one piece at a time. So I think it's time to throw this car together. Bmr kmember w/ upper and lowwer arms, manual rack, bmr torque Xtreme torque arm, bmr anti roll bar, adjustable rear lower, strange 12 bolt, th400.
I have a old FAST classic system that I used to run on the other car when it was N/A. Not sure why I don't want to use it, but I keep looking at the holley Hp system. I see alot of people use mircosquirt and Megasqurit. Those systems seem to confuse me with all the different configuration and systems, mirco, ms1, ms2, ms3, ms3pro, gold box, ect.... Future plans are to go to a twin setup with a better engine combo. Something like a 352 incher and twin 76mm's. But I want to play with this setup for now. Is there any reason not to use the old FAST classic system. Most of the tuners that i know use BigStuff3. I'm not wanting to get it a $4000 efi system right now. I have a racepak system on the race car now that I could use, it has 8 o2's, 8 egt's, fuel pressure pump and carb, pan vac, drive shaft speed, shock sensors, ect, oil pressure, g meter, amd dose everything except drive the car. So i dont really need any more data. Thats why i keep thinking about the holley hp system. Cause I don't really need a bunch of ins and outs, but then I look at the dominator system for the future. Just can't seem to pull the trigger on anything.
Anyone still using the old FAST system? What will the holley hp do that the fast won't?
To many choices that all do the same thing. Lol. Will someone please help my dumpass out.
Thanks guys

Find a tuner local to you or you are happy to work with and use what they recommend.
And Racepak is a dash display/logger. It is not an engine control system. Any decent modern ecu will be able to communicate with the Racepak and transmit any engine information to it for you to view without shitloads of extra wiring.
They will get you setup... For a great price... And take care of you AFTER the purchase also.
Let him know I sent you.
