Thumbs up First turbo build, advice appreciated

This is going to be my first turbo build. My truck is a 1997 chev c1500. It has been 5.3 swapped for 3 years now. In August the 5.3 grenaded on the road coarse. Now looking to go turbo ls1. Ive got an Ls1 with 92k on it along with a 4l70e with 60k on it sitting in my shop. Power goals aren't extremely high being this truck is used mostly on an autocross track. 500-550 wheel horse is the goal and would like it to be reliable. Fast spool is a must. I know an iron 6.0 would be better for boost but weight is also a priority and the ls1 was basically free.

What I have now is an Edelbrock Pro Flo intake with a Edelbrock 90mm throttle body and matching rails. Everything else from the old motor is junk.
The current fuel system is a 20 gal cell in the box, single 6an feed line to a pre filter, then to a inline walbro 255, then vette filter/regulator/return. Any suggestions on the fuel system would be great.

Plans are:
Clean and re gasket/seal the engine but leave it stock otherwise
Arp hardware
243 heads
Sell my 42# injectors and go 60lb to run e85 (Let me know if I need to go bigger)
Turbo cam (suggestions on this)
up and forward turbo headers, I will build the rest
Borg warner S400 76mm turbo, If there is a better turbo for my application let me know
38mm wastegate/bov (again any advice appreciated)
4" downpipe into a 4" cutout then split to dual 3" with dynomax bullets and exit out the sides of the box like it is currently.
Obviously transmission will be buit and im also going to be running the TCI paddle shift kit.

The list is short, I just got started on this. Would love to get feedback/advice/direction on this.

Thanks guys.
Fun pic of what my 5.3 looked like when I pulled the oil pan off.

Yes I'm noticing that when researching everything and checking prices. I'm gonna have to spend a lot more to get atleast decent quality parts. Which isn't a huge deal it'll just take a little longer to do which I'm ok with. I'd rather take my time and spend the money then throw it together and not have it reliable just a big ticking time bomb.
