5 Attachment(s) For a winter upgrade, decided to do dual walbro 450 pumps. I was initially going to use dual 340 pumps but wanted to use e85 rated pumps and I have had great luck with the walbro 450. First off, there is no way two of these will fit through the stock opening in the tank so I am going to modify an n/a tank I have laying around. For the sender, I bought a dynamic fuel pump module from ricks restomod tanks with an integrated fuel bucket, so there's no need for in-tank baffling. More updates coming. I need to weld a late model GM fuel pump flange on to the n/a tank yet. Very very cool setup and car. Nice |
Awesome build. Anything you'd do different? About to start my swap into a 78 Cutlass |
Fuel tank looks cool. My brothers and myself all have a soft spot for G body cars. Good luck with it. |
Where did you get the flange for the CTSV pump module? Andrew |
Thanks for the compliments guys.

1 Attachment(s) Just finished up the tank. I ended up resealing the tank's interior with por-15 tank sealer to prevent the welds from rusting from the inside out and sprayed the outside with semi gloss black. Also, the sender has seperate outlets for each pump so I wyed them together with stainless tubing and a fragola wye fitting. The wiring in the car still needs to be done but I'll wait for it to warm up. The plan is to run a 10 gauge feed to each pump and also trigger the second pump via a hobbs switch at 7-12 psi. Looking good. I just used some POR-15 to seal the inside of the quarter panels on my last little project. From what I read, the stuff works great at preventing rust. |
