swapping to turbo need some help hi guys car is starting to feel a bit slow nowdays so im going to step it up with some boost .. so i have the choice on a lm7 or a lq4 complete drop out and im not sure witch will be the better buy both cheap with the 6 litre only few dollers more .. i got a great deal on a brand new borgwarner s475 1.32 t6 stock cover and a turbo ground camshaft so i grabbed them i also got a holley single plain intake and edelbrock elbow to go on it aswel
- my question is i guess will this turbo be too laggy on the 5.3?
- strength wise are both the motors the same?
- the lq4 would have been my first choice as will make more power on the same boost level so there for be a better option in the long run but so many run the 5.3 is this only because there few hundred cheaper?
power goals are around 650whp on 12-14psi on e85 fuel and 9.9 in 3500 pound street car 50% street 50% race car has a braked t400 and 9'' with 4.11 gear (i expect to change)
