I went from a 45 to a 90, it smokes with both.

yup. after trying the different fittings i still ended up using the 90*. rotated the turbo drain towards the front a little more and its been ok.

Nice. I'm going to cut about 3" off mine to see if that helps. That 3" being too long give it a slight upgrade so hopefully this is one of my problems.

I would suggest angling the turbo 1st then checking the length before cutting the hose. I had cut mine so many times and ended up being short. As you can see the drain is between 5-6 o'clock position. Maybe could've got little more towards 5 o'clock but hose length wouldn't allow. Hope that helps

Also. You can turn the hose end wherever you like it for better clearance and angle. That's another thing i didn't do before until jon mentioned to do because it was hitting the flange area where the the turbo sits causing me not to have any room to tighten the hose end or move it a certain way.
