I got the Edelbrock fuel pump yesterday. It is basically just a GM pump modified to work with the EVAP system on the 07-09 SUV's that didn't come with Flex Fuel. Also comes with an OEM fuel pump flow control module. At least this way, I don't have to worry if it is programmed for the correct vehicle, lol.

Also, here are some more pics of the halfassed "porting" that I did. Nothing crazy. I am pretty happy with how well that I got the snout to match up to the case.

The ZL1 lids cooler brick is larger, thus offering more cooling.

Yep. Lower IAT's is the big thing... I really want to use the CTS-V lid for that stock CTS-V look, but the ZL1 lid will get me lower IAT's... Tough decision. I don't plan to make this thing a Racetruck. I'm sure the CTS-V lid would work just fine, but.....

Our trucks have plenty of room for a large HX and an icebox, not really an issue like a ZL1 or a V.

All in time, my friend. I'm on a tight budget. I still have to buy a trailer for the SxS, and have to finish the rebuild on a supercharger seadoo engine. I am using all stock stuff to start. Overtime, I might add and icebox, high volume HX pump, bigger heat HX, etc. I got all of the stock V stuff VERY cheap.

Yeah, I got tired of fixing everything else and bought a new Silverado. I put a transmission in it, valve cover, oil pump, AC compressor, blower motor, hub bearings, heated seat quit, then it broke an engine mount while pulling a trailer. I got tired of spending $200 a month on repairs so I sold it the week after then egine mount and heated seat failure.

I LOVE the replacement though.
