So I just got a LM7 complete engine for $375 and it is going to replace my 5.7. Most likely going to have it rebuilt and put forged rods and pistons in as well. I'm looking for around 700hp for now... feel free to give your opinions but here is my checklist so far:

Turbo cam
BTR .660 valve springs
Chromoly pushrods
LS9 headgaskets
ARP headstuds
Water pump gaskets
Trunion upgrade timing cover seal
Timing cover gasket
Melling oil pump
C5R timing Chain
LS7 lifters
th400 trans w/ converter
