Need a little help I am helping out a buddy put togehter a lq9 motor, currently doesnt have any heads or intake on the block.So I wanted to know if it would be worth putting ls3 top end on it?? This will be a boost motor, or would it be better finding some 317 heads back on it and stock intake? Thanks in advance. Cam will more than likely be little john cam package

I went LS3 heads and under NA i think it hurt me as wasn't really impressed. People I talked to said airflow velocity was to low on a 370CI as it had a power band that kicked in over 4,000 RMP. Im in a truck vs car so maybe my issue of moving this fat ***.
Now same set up under boost Lq4/ls3/l92 intake I think helping me due to ls3 heads flow more.
